Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing marketing strategies to increase the visibility of the company and grow market share. This position functions in support of company’s sales and marketing objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing activities to generate revenue growth targets set by the CEO
  • Contact and qualify leads and conduct initial follow-up
  • Set-up and coordinate sales meetings and conference calls & make presentations to prospects
  • Provide market research, branding and general marketing / sales consulting services to new manufacturing clients
  • Generate PR and create/manage viral marketing campaigns, develop marketing-communication tools and sales tactics to attract new customers including web-based strategies, blogging and press releases
  • Develop new accounts and product profiles
  • Coordinate with CEO and technical groups to facilitate marketing functions
  • Provide status reports to management on overall sales and marketing activities
  • Appear and speak on behalf of the company at industry shows and conferences
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems for marketing
  • Create and modify documents using MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Perform general administrative duties to include preparation of presentation materials
  • Conduct travel activities for presentations and shows
  • 5-10% traveling required to marketing/sales meetings and shows

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related degree
  • Experienced in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Possess technical marketing skills & sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Knowledge of the skincare/spa/beauty industry, including basic technical principles and concepts
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, press releases, marketing blogs
  • Ability to effectively present verbal & written information and respond to questions from
    prospective customers. Formal presentation skills.
  • Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
  • Excellent organizational & project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
  • A self-starter, team player, creative & innovative
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Deadline-focused, strong time management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook & Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Experienced in internet searches and blogs.
